On Thursday 22nd May P7 attended the Choices for Life event at Ingliston, Edinburgh along with several thousand other P7 pupils. We would like to share our views on the experience.
"I think Choices for Life really made me think about my choices
that I will come across later on."
"Choices for Life was really good because I learnt alot. The
play made me feel like how the girl felt when she was dying."
"Choices for Life was so good. If anyone thought taking drugs was
cool, I doubt they will think it anymore."
"I loved it because I realised what could happen if I took drugs."
Choices for Life was such a fascinating experience and the crowd was unbelievable. The entire concert was remarkable, there were people performing and everybody got up and danced to every song. Some even joined in with the singing. Throughout the concert they show clips about what could happen to you if you take drugs. At the end they did a play and it made me feel so sick. Choices for Life tells the path you should follow and to make the right choices. Follow that path!
Choices for Life made me think
Help people if the ask
Others might follow your footsteps
It's wrong to drink too much alcohol
Choose good decisions
Ecstasy killed the girl
Some drugs can ruin your life
Friends should be there for you
Others don't understand
Remember the signs
Life is hard
It's dangerous to take drugs
Follow the right crowd
Everybody should choose a safe life.
